Why Manifesting Isn’t Always Easy

Hello My Beautiful Friends….Last week we spoke all about our feelings and how our energy is affected by our thoughts and how we choose to think about what is happening in our life. Today we are going to talk about how our beliefs hold us back from manifesting what we want.

But before we get into that I would like to come from a place of gratitude and think of what you are thankful for today? Have you started your gratitude journals, writing 3-5 things down everyday of what you are thankful for? I hope you have so you can start your days off with your vibrations high. Today I am thankful for all of you out there listening. I look forward every week being able to send out the right words that will give you all the message that you are all needing and wanting to hear.

Every morning while I meditate, I ask my higher self/ the Universe, our Creator, to give me the right words to speak to those I come in contact with and for my clients that I am coaching that day, as well as when I am recording each episode of this podcast. But before we get into todays episode and the message you are meant to hear on the Lies that we were told, I want you to write this affirmation down. Do you have your journal close by? Go on go get it if you don’t, Im not going anywhere….Ok are you ready, here it is… Today I focus on what I want to attract into my life. Let me repeat that again, Today I focus on what I want to attract into my life.

It’s not your fault that you are confused and unhappy, that you have beliefs that you are tied to, or why you think the way you do, but after you hear what I am about to tell you, if you don’t do anything about it, well then, we can question that statement. It happens to be our parents, our grandparents and past generations, who we have to thank for why we are fucked up and why we think the way we do. So let me explain why this is true and why we happen to believe the things that we do, You see, When we came into this world as babies, incapable of doing anything. We were just living in the moment as we were meant to, and our world was perfect exactly how it was. We had absolutely no idea that anything was any less perfect than what it was to us at that time.

As we got older, well, that’s a totally different story, because we started listening to all the people around us that we trusted, and we believed whatever they told us was true. From the moment we were able to absorb information, our loved ones filled us up with a lifetime of crazy beliefs that they learned from past generations. Many that actually have nothing to do with who we are or that are necessarily true (you’re not smart enough, you’re not skinny enough, money doesn’t make you happy, the world is a dangerous place, there is a place called hell and if you don’t believe in God you will go there, you will never find a good job or make a good salary if you don’t go to college, You are born a sinner, all other religions are wrong but ours, and so on).

When your parents were raising you, of course they only wanted what was best for you. They loved you, they wanted to keep you safe from the big scary world. They had no idea that these were just beliefs that could actually be questioned let alone not believed, because you see, most of us are just innocently living in an illusion based on someone else’s beliefs.

You see, Beliefs are just sentences that are told to us over and over again, and our subconscious mind turns them into our truth through repetition.

So, if your father or mother repeatedly told you that you weren’t smart enough or pretty enough, your subconscious eventually believed it. Those untrue words of theirs most likely made you extremely insecure while you were growing up. You may actually still question your intelligence and if you are attractive at all.

Knowing and understanding that beliefs are just repeated sentences told to us, we can choose to either keep the beliefs we have or we can change them. I mean who the hell knew? Our parents sure didn’t or we wouldn’t be so messed up with all these crazy beliefs running through our head.

That my friends is exactly how the subconscious mind works: by repeating words or sentences over and over until eventually it believes them.
